i think lyney being suicidal isn't even the saddest thing about her character, it's the fact she's suicidal but she's too loyal to her family to do so. she's walking round and round inside a cage. suicide is not an option yet she thinks about it

problems would carry over in a romantic relationship, in some way or another. The vulnerability that comes with being in a relationship might just scare him away as well. Lyney is insecure—he needs to learn to love himself instead of finding someone else to do the job for him.
