@TomWright165389@Dylan84251@obelovesAYHTDWS@Steve1883971@theoceanblooms Nobody denied that was a fact, the point is, in the long run a sleeve IS far more worth it. Plus, you're not taking into account how expensive a decent AC unit is to run. That, and most people build sleeves in sessions, splitting the cost over time, and save in advance.
@TomWright165389@Dylan84251@obelovesAYHTDWS@Steve1883971@theoceanblooms I think you're actually a bit dim. Arm sleeve = for life, Aircon, for the amount we would use it here, is comparatively more expensive.
And no I don't have any tattoos, ink aside though you and your argument remain stupid
If road traffic offences like running a red are strict liability, rape should be as well, the fact the perpetrator has low IQ or whatever bullshit should not admonish them of guilt. Get fucked man honestly.

Brother I literally work at a salad factory where we make salads for pretty much all major supermarkets, 24/7, WHAT are you on aboutππ And I've never known a restaurant not to have some semblance of a salad, where the fuck are you eating??
It's easier to find a salad in the US than it is in the UK... I wish I was joking but salads are standard in most US restaurants including McDonald's. In the UK it's rare to find a salad of any kind in a pub or restaurant.
@LCallmelan2 @whale_collector As did everyone else there. Having been to concerts myself where people make unnecessarily loud noises (aside from the expected cheering/singing along), I'm talking from experience when I say noise loud enough to be picked out from the crowd like that is jarring, cultural or not
@LCallmelan2 @whale_collector If we're going down the route of appropriateness, I argue making that sound, cultural celebration or not, during a quiet, toned down moment of a set is in itself inappropriate. Concerts have their own etiquette and culture, which people unfortunately struggle to accept in itself
@LCallmelan2 @whale_collector Her exact wording was "it's my culture". There was no other info provided. Yodelling and adjacent sounds occur in many cultures, and auditory wise, objectively sound "weird". I'm not a massive SC fan, but you're painting this as targeted act against culture rather than the sound
@LCallmelan2 @whale_collector It was a quiet moment in her set, I fear the reaction would've been the same regardless of what culture was behind it. Also, she was calling the sound weird, not the culture itself. You're holding a woman to moral standards based off of a cultural awareness she doesn't have.
@LCallmelan2 @whale_collector Not everyone ever is gonna be aware of every cultural practice, lambasting someone who is unaware of the meaning behind something is counterproductive. Educate maybe, rather than sitting on your high horse
I've personally got no interest in AI, but I've been doing a deep dive on this for the last few days, and the rabbit hole its lead me down is simultaneously hilarious yet deeply harrowing. People are mourning a chat bot like it's a real person. Very Black Mirror-esque
Seeing people crashing out about the removal of Chat-GPT 4o going on about making complaints that the change violates their consumer rights, but if you read the Terms of Usage, they say the services may change at any time. Read what you're agreeing to, and seek therapy #keep4o
