Free-time streamer on Twitch at 7 pm CST on Fridays and 6 pm CST on Saturdays. (For now)
I do have social anxiety that I'm trying to get over by streaming.
@Momonga_Altosk As someone who hoards cards, yes. I would LOVE this. Iโd be trying to get so many cards from people itโd be hard for me to stream. XD
@Momonga_Altosk But starting to stream just to meet someone seems a littleโฆ obsessive. Sure id love to meet a few creators I adore but I didnโt start for them. My reason at the start was my mom. Sheโs still my main reason but now I have others I want to game for as well.
@Momonga_Altosk I started streaming shortly after a friend did but not for the reason of her doing it. She was just the last push I needed and I have yet to tell her that because sheโs still on her own journey. I mainly wanted to play games for my mom across the country and this is how I did it.
@hanikovt One becomes my friend by talking to me. Idc about dms much but either in replies like this or in twitch chat. My dms are rarely used outside discord and even then, I usually use those for things that need quick attention. But regular convos in replies and chat are friendworthy.
@TakeVT_ I donโt see the viewer count. I โknowโ I always have a couple viewers from lurkers and shy people and accept their lurkiness. As for 0 chatters, I ramble to myself or do little โbah bah bahโs and humming as I run around my games like a doofus until someone talks.
@Fableafterdarkx Fully understandable. Before I follow someone, I make sure they arenโt a bot and arenโt a punk thatโs gonna make me regret following them.
@ZoxyFluffcore When you need to take a break, take it. Donโt burn yourself out. Burnout is not worth it if you love doing something. Iโm streaming only 4 days a week for the summer so I donโt accidentally burn myself out. Each game is different each day and I get to enjoy all of it.
PSA: Set up a honeypot channel to stop hacked accounts and unwanted bots from flooding your discord. Carl bot has a easy setting for this and it's entirely free. Very worth it.
@Ayngull sometimes its a message that the person seems to reply with in multiple places and could be seen as spam. Sometimes its a bot trying to pry into your dms, sometimes it's someone who just says the same thing a lot.
