@autisriel@gasterstruelove I explain more in other replies, but it being Noelle’s theme makes more sense in context of it being used everywhere, as it can represent a more general concept regarding her character without her involvement, meanwhile if it were Dess’s theme, it implies the moment is about her.
@autisriel@gasterstruelove Fair enough, although that does make the instances of it being used outside of Noelle and Dess weirder, as while Dess haunts the narrative, she only haunts those that know her, so it being used for characters like Susie is stranger than if it were just a normal Noelle theme.
@gasterstruelove Noelle’s main character flaw, being that she puts the concerns and desires of others above her own. Lost Girl is like Noelle, in that while it is her theme, it is more than willing to be the theme of anyone who is feeling sad for whatever reason, or even if they’re not (Mikes).
@gasterstruelove I’ll also add this on since I keep seeing it debated in the replies of the main post and I think it would be interesting to put out there, but I think the reason why Lost Girl gets reused so much isn’t because it’s the theme of Dess, but rather because it’s symbolic of—
