Most men are not gay. They’re just not auditioning for the role you wrote. Wanting a night with friends is not a secret orientation. It’s a normal human habit that existed before your timeline. A man can like women and still not treat every evening like a performance review. If date night feels like a chore to him, the problem might be the night, the dynamic, or the pressure not a closet you invented from one preference. Calling male friendship “proof” is lazy. Calling women’s bodies “the test” is worse. Attraction is not the same thing as unlimited availability.
Really hoping the Russos bring Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk back for Avengers: Doomsday. Ruffalo has always been such a natural fit for Banner, and seeing him reunite with the Russos would be a genuinely exciting MCU return.
Most cheating fights are about the sex. That’s the wrong layer.
The real break is informational. One person is living in the old story. The other is editing it in real time what to delete, what to delay, what face to wear at dinner.
By the time the truth lands, the betrayed person isn’t only hurt. They’re reconstructing a timeline they were never allowed to see.
That’s why “it didn’t mean anything” fails. The secrecy meant everything. It trained one person to doubt their own eyes

I thought she was correcting me.
She was removing the moment I used to need help.
She never announced it. She just kept making the room ready, as if I might still be walking in slow.

The stitches came out years ago. I can drag a chair. I can lift a bag. I can do every ordinary thing I used to do. She still gets to the table first and closes that two-inch gap.

Three weeks after my surgery I could not pull a chair in without holding my side. I would stand there and wait like I was asking permission to sit in my own kitchen. She started moving it before I reached the table so I would never have to ask.

I asked her why she does it. I expected a joke about my posture or the floor being uneven. She kept stirring the pan. Then she said I was not supposed to remember

Last Tuesday I woke up first. I sat down before she came in. The chair was where I had left it the night before, a little too far from the table. I had to drag it myself. It took half a second. It bothered me more than it should have.

I would laugh and push the chair back. I told her I could move my own seat. She would already be at the stove, not looking at me. After a while I stopped noticing. It just became the way breakfast started.
The scale cannot tell you if a diet worked.
Strength and waist can.
If both move in the right direction, the deficit did its job. If only the scale moved, you borrowed results from muscle.
