Congress leader Simranjeet Singh Bains alleged that when Punjab Congress chief Raja Warring contested the Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat, several senior Congress leaders had called him, saying that Warring "must be defeated at any cost." Bains claimed he possesses audio recordings of those conversations.Further, Bains said that former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi is an innocent man who is being used by others. हाल ही में स्ट्रेट ऑफ होर्मुज़ में अपनी जान गंवाने वाले हमीरपुर जिला के गलोड़ क्षेत्र के स्वर्गीय आदित्य शर्मा जी के पिता राजेश शर्मा जी ने परिवार सहित मुलाक़ात की।

जवान बेटे का असमय दुनिया से चले जाना परिवार के लिए असहनीय पीड़ा है। इस दुःख की घड़ी में पूरा प्रदेश शोकाकुल परिवार के साथ खड़ा है।

परिजन ने आग्रह किया कि स्वर्गीय आदित्य शर्मा जी की असामयिक मृत्यु के मामले को केंद्र सरकार के समक्ष उठाया जाए। उनका कहना है कि अब तक इस मामले में अपेक्षित स्तर पर कार्रवाई नहीं हो सकी है।

मैंने परिवार को आश्वस्त किया है कि राज्य सरकार इस विषय को पूरी गंभीरता के साथ केंद्र सरकार के समक्ष उठाएगी और परिवार को न्याय दिलाने के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास करेगी।

किसी भी संवेदनशील सरकार को गंभीरता से देश के युवाओं की बात सुननी चाहिए और उनकी जायज मांगें माननी चाहिए। आज देश की शिक्षा और परीक्षा प्रणाली में बड़े बदलावों की जरूरत है और हमारे बच्चे यही मांग कर रहे हैं।

लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी जी शुरू से ही पेपर लीक पर युवाओं की आवाज हर मंच पर उठा रहे हैं। सरकार तुरंत छात्रों की मांगे माने।

Sri Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj warned the Punjab government over the activities of two IT cell groups. He gave the government a 10-day ultimatum to stop the narrative being spread by these IT cells against Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He further said that if the government fails to act within the stipulated time, the Panth will march to the IT cell offices to stop their activities.

Sri Akal Takht Sahib has formally conveyed its objections, directions, and key recommendations to the Punjab Government regarding The Jaagat Jot Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar (Amendment) Act, 2026.
According to the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the communication has been emailed to Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh and the Punjab Chief Secretary, and will also be dispatched via registered post.
The matter remains sensitive, with Sri Akal Takht Sahib maintaining that the legislation was enacted without seeking the opinion and consent of the Guru Khalsa Panth.
