चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिनपिंग और फर्स्ट लेडी पेंग लियुआन अमेरिका की यात्रा पर पहुं��े हैं। एयरपोर्ट पर खुद राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप और फर्स्ट लेडी मेलानिया ट्रंप ने उनका स्वागत किया। कहा जा रहा है कि दशकों बाद ऐसा हुआ है कि किसी अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ने किसी विदेशी राष्ट्राध्यक्ष का इस तरह एयरबेस पर जाकर स्वागत किया हो। अमेरिकी प्रोटोकॉल के लिहाज से इसे खास और अपेक्षाकृत दुर्लभ जेस्चर माना जा रहा है।

इससे यह दिखता है कि ट्रंप को चीन की कितनी जरूरत है। एयरपोर्ट पर स्वागत के समय का एक वीडियो भी वायरल है।

स्वागत के दौरान अमेरिकी सैन्य विमानों का flyover हुआ। एक B-1 bomber बेहद नीचे और तेज आवाज के साथ ऊपर से गुजरा। वीडियो में ट्रंप की प्रतिक्रिया देखने लायक है, जबकि शी जिनपिंग बिल्कुल स्थिर नजर आए।
