Gazette notification issued for name change but No other POI except Aadhaar available for old name. Trying to change name since last one year.

Daughter’s Aadhaar card generated on 2nd day in her mother’s name at the time of birth by hospital citing Aadhaar rules. Now name as per birth certificate cannot be updated in Aadhaar card. Without Gazette notification. Why so many formalities to change kid’s name.

Aadhaar card generated at the time of birth in mother’s name by hospital as per norms. Now name can’t be changed as per birth certificate without gazetted notification. It causes unnecessary paperwork and harassment of parents. Please advise
