A condolence meeting was held to pay tribute to Shrutika Baranwal, a student of TISS, whose tragic passing in the Delhi hotel fire has deeply saddened us all.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her family find strength and solace in this difficult time.

The entire narrative about how people should be “grateful” to the Soviets for beating the Nazis fails on three prongs.
First, obviously they were both totalitarian dictatorships that murdered millions of people. Eastern Europe and the Baltics were enslaved by the Soviets after the war, not liberated.
Second, they were both allies under the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and indeed started the war by invading Poland together.
Third, the Soviets had horribly inefficient factories (remember they were communists!) and wouldn’t have been able to win without American support in the form of Lend-Lease, as Stalin and Khrushchev both admitted.

@stats_feed Quantifying data that is intrinsically qualitative by nature 😑. Introduce the one more variable based on taste and the data will lose this visual. 😁
