“During that time, all the members of LOONA were having trouble with the company, so we couldn't really work outwardly. Everybody just stayed home, feeling exhausted and depressed about the situation. But then the problems started resolving as time went by, and I decided, when the time came, it's time for me to really work on something. That's why I made songs for my members, to begin with, I wanted to support them, and that's where it all came from originally [...] After that, whenever I met the members' families or our fans, everybody was wondering, ‘When are you debuting? When is your solo album coming out?’, that made me feel a little rushed, but whenever those feelings came, I tried my best to calm myself down and just go with the flow, not rush. I was going to wait for the right time, the right company to work with.
