“athleticism has improved” but “talent and skill have fallen off a clip”
and your example is an athletic guy who is having a lesser career than the guy who is less athletic and more skillful?
like you see the transition of big men from shaq to jokic and think that???
The athleticism has improved. But the talent and skill have fallen off a cliff.
They stopped drafting basketball players and started drafting combine statistics and physical attributes.
Example.
Jokic was not valued in the draft. Selected at 41 with no eye popping combine stats or physical attributes.
His teammate Aaron Gordon was selected at number 4 with eye popping combine stats and the physical attributes to match.
Based on what we know now who would you rather build a team around?
To me this is one of the main catalysts to the problems in the NBA today.
it’s funny as hell people can’t see talent bc they don’t like how a player plays
shaq a was dominant as a freak of nature
jokic is dominant as an all around threat, on ball, off ball, in the most, at the free throw, at the perimeter like wtf
@CFCPys@lequipe it’s almost like he’s been in and out of injuries since we bought him and hasn’t shown he should be starting rn….
let’s get some money and get serious
@Noyvington@mario_ps6@CrazyVibes_1@PicturesFoIder i probably shouldn’t bite but out of curiosity do you always create made up scenarios to get mad at whenever you see a black person not get discriminated by the system?
