@RevRichardColes Paul’s musings to Timothy at MP on the role of women didn’t do much for the mission of the church either! Still the glory of the lectionary is you get the good and the less good.
@CrumbMontgomery@kejamieson_@Naval_History Well, Beresford Churchill and the Gallipoli alternative interests me, then there’s Suez but its a whole new area for me so I think I’ll take it as it comes
I hesitate to use the word ‘inspired’ but after some of @kejamieson_ tweets on her MA dissertation I am pleased to say I will soon be starting a second MA in @Naval_History at Portsmouth, a complete change of direction for me a medievalist and I am so looking forward to it
Just had the pleasure if meeting @raymond_blanc on the @belmond british pullman, what a lovely chap and an absolute delight to sample his cooking. 30 years of marriage celebrated in fine style. Any chance of the garlic purée recipe?
@twishop @BishopofCroydon @FrHadan I’m a bit rusty on the subject area but as I recall boat people are one of the 8 main groups of travelling people but only English Romany Gypsies and Irish Travellers have minority ethnic status in law. Don’t exclude boat people but start to teach a course begin at the begining
@RochesterCathed@engliscmunuc@engcathedrals @MythicalBritain Wrote about it as part of my Medieval History MA and used the wonderful online version. The quality of the images is amazing. The Textus really is a fascinating document it gave me a whole new perspective on Pennenden Heath and what happened there.
