Hey Jasmine…
Black pilot here.
I think you missed the plot.
Then again, that’s becoming a pattern.
I graduated from West Point.
I went through Army flight school.
I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache.
I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad.
Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color.
Nobody lowered the standards for me.
Nobody looked at me and said, “Let’s check a diversity box.”
That’s what people like you don’t seem to understand.
Suggesting that Black pilots, Black engineers, Black doctors, or Black leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting.
I didn’t want a different standard.
I wanted the same standard.
And when you’re flying into combat, the American people don’t care what race the pilot is.
They care whether the pilot is qualified.
Merit isn’t racist.
Excellence isn’t discriminatory.
And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.
In Wisconsin, a graduate was forced to stop on stage when his diploma couldn't be found.
That's when the school said a person traveled thousands of miles to deliver it to him.
It was his sister, returning from military service, for over a year. ❤️
please normalize letting people eat their lunch alone if they want and decompressing for 30 min without the pressure of being considered antisocial in the workplace.
In Parliament today: I expose an official national police policy, published in March 2025, requiring police forces to treat different ethnic groups differently.
This is immoral, divisive and dangerous
We cannot have two-tier policing
The Home Secretary should ensure this policy is ended right now

Sadly, it's true. Amazon has elected not to move forward with the new Stargate series.
There's not much I can add beyond confirming what's happened. But I will say this...
Creator Martin Gero developed a new Stargate series over two years, ultimately crafting a show that offered a fresh jumping-on point for new viewers while deeply respecting existing canon. It was a series that avoided the pitfalls of several modern remakes and reboots by fully embracing the core of its predecessors: action, adventure, exploration, wonder, heart, humor, and found family. And based on that creative vision, the new Stargate series was greenlit in November of 2025.
As of today, officially, that original vision is no more. We'll never get the opportunity to introduce you to that world and those characters - or reintroduce you to, and check in with, some familiar faces from the past.
My heart breaks. For the incredibly talented writers who worked tirelessly to bring this show to life. For Martin who maintained an unwavering positive outlook throughout despite the challenges, and who always strove to make a show that would honor the fans while welcoming a new audiences. And for the long-suffering Stargate fandom who waited so long and came so close to getting a show they truly would have loved.
🚨MUST WATCH!🔥
Zia Yusuf just brilliantly dismantled Cathy Newman on Sky News.
Newman tried her usual gotcha routine, accusing Nigel Farage of “incitement” for calling for “pure cold rage” over the Henry Nowak bodycam footage.
Zia flipped the script instantly:
“Have you watched the footage?”
She claimed she had.
“What emotions did you feel watching it?”
Newman dodged. Squirmed. Refused to answer. Kept repeating: “Is that incitement or not?”
Zia stayed calm and pressed:
“With respect, I’m asking you what emotions did you feel?
“The last words Henry heard on this earth were his rights being read to him while he was bleeding to death, handcuffed. Human to human, Cathy… how did you feel watching that?”
She still wouldn’t answer. Just kept trying to steer it back to her scripted “incitement” trap.
Zia nailed it:
“Millions of people of all races and religions are absolutely furious because this is a crystal-clear example of two-tier policing.”
A dying British teenager crying “I’ve been stabbed” and “I can’t breathe”, while officers prioritised a racism allegation over helping him.
Cathy couldn’t answer because she’d either have to admit she felt the same rage (and undermine her own attack on Farage)… or reveal she felt nothing, which would look even worse.
Absolutely pathetic.
Playing partisan gotcha games while a young man lay dying ignored by the police. Zia exposed exactly what this is: a refusal to engage with uncomfortable reality. Well played, Zia. The public sees it.
"Bridger Walker is the boy who saved his younger sister from a vicious dog attack...
He received ninety stitches throughout his body, but saved his three-year-old sister from certain death.
"If someone was going to die, it must be me, I'm the older brother."
The World Boxing Council (WBC) recognized him as a World Heavyweight Champion for a day!
It will remain in the official historical record of the WBC.
For that one day, he was the best fighter in the world."
Few months ago a young lad called Toby messaged me on instagram and asked if I’d follow him back, I jokingly replied .. I will if you come and spend the day out in the field with me, rather than all this through the screen stuff.
He did it, his mum brought him at 5am to spend the day at @Bempton_Cliffs with me.. I used his little vlog camera to make him a video that he can share.
He is a little legend, with a foot ailment that made it difficult to walk or stand for long, with a true passion for photography and determination to spend the day with me, it was unreal.
He also had his dad’s old camera with manual focus and none of the gimmicks we all have in our silly cameras .
All these photos are his.

The Equalizer, starring Edward Woodward (born today in 1930), was the first proper grown-up TV show I was allowed to watch
Woodward kept getting approached by people needing help, so he started handing out numbers for social services
This Stewart Copeland theme is still a banger!
