@lopydeer@charliejclarke@CPLsoccer Again, it's not about that. If it was, for example, Pacific at Ottawa, it's fine, few Pacific fans make the trip regardless. But Supra fans could easily travel to Ottawa for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon game
@lopydeer@charliejclarke@CPLsoccer It's not about having A game on a Tuesday night, it's about having This game.
There are only two reasonable road trips in the league, those games should *always* be on weekends to encourage away fan attendance.
@jkamckenzie@reporterchris@sdpnsports Okay, you two just became billionaires and the NHL has awarded you an expansion franchise that you can put literally anywhere (except Coburg ๐ ) - where are you putting it?
@TheBaronOfBeard@the_habitant Ehlers and Chatfield are 30 now.
Of your top 9 by average ice time, 6 are 30+, with the other three 28, 26, 24.
By contrast, just 1 of Montreal's top 9 is 30+, while 7 are 26 and under.
It's not an excuse, it's a fact. The Canes are roughly average, the Habs are very young ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@CCpxpSN@hnicsimmer keep claiming the Habs recorded the fewest shots in playoff history over an x game span, completely ignoring the fact that shots are being tracked very differently this year - apparently down 12.1% since 2022, whereas goals are down just 0.09% ๐๐
@jkamckenzie Yep. Who knows what would have happened.
Also of note, I believe there were 36 powerplays in CAR-OTT, 41 in CAR-PHI. So far just 22 in CAR-MTL. Where have the penalties gone? How much does that benefit one team vs the other?
