My recent interview with Iran’s Ambassador Khali Shirgholami on Armenia-Iran Relations, #TRIPP, and Regional Security - Caucasus Watch https://t.co/xcByMP3Tvr
Congratulations to Prime Minister @NikolPashinyan on his party’s reelection. The United States stands with Prime Minister Pashinyan and Armenia in the pursuit of peace, and we are committed to advancing the goals of the historic Washington Peace Summit, including implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP). We look forward to working together to deliver peace, stability, and prosperity to the South Caucasus and beyond.
The prime minister @NikolPashinyan referring to the term used by the members of “strong Armenia” campaign manager (the telephone conversations published in social media) between the members, planning to electoral bribery in favor of “Strong Armenia”. You are misrepresenting the Truth using words out of contexts.
Today, members of the Public Council met with Interior Minister @ArpineSargsyan6 at the Matenadaran. We discussed internal security, migration policy, and progress toward EU visa liberalization. A constructive meeting that strengthens dialogue between the state and society.
Preserving the territorial integrity of states remains a core principle of the international system. The fragmentation or “Balkanization” of Iran would likely deepen instability in the Middle East and create wider security risks beyond the region. Sustainable peace is rarely achieved through externally imposed regime change; long-term stability requires respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and diplomatic solutions.
Iran’s cohesion also has broader geopolitical implications, as the country sits at the intersection of several regional systems and plays a central role in energy security and regional balance.

“We pray for peace. As Psalm 34:14 says, ‘Turn from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.’ War brings only pain. The reports of children killed in strikes on schools in Iran are heartbreaking and unacceptable. The killing of innocent children has no place in any conflict. Every child deserves safety and life.”

We may be witnessing the consolidation of a new phase in #US foreign policy, one that doesn’t fit neatly into classical realism, liberal institutionalism, or neoconservative doctrine. This emerging approach, often described as #Trumpism, prioritizes speed over process, leverage over consensus, and transactional clarity over multilateral ritual. For Washington, the objectives appear sharply defined: protect core interests, recalibrate burdens, and act decisively. For the rest of the world, the pattern is less predictable.
It is fast, often surgical, and unapologetically interest-driven. The uncertainty lies not in whether the #US will act, but in how and when it chooses to deploy pressure, incentives, or disengagement.
We are no longer debating intervention vs. restraint in traditional terms. We are analyzing a doctrine built on disruption, asymmetry, and strategic compression of time.
Just shared an insightful piece on Iran’s ongoing crises and what they mean for the South Caucasus. The protests have grabbed headlines, but regime collapse isn’t imminent, and the stability of #Tehran matters deeply for our region’s security and economic ties. #IranRevolution2026
Why Stability in Tehran Matters. Our latest report explains why recent protests in Iran are unlikely to topple the regime and why a stable Iran is critical for peace and economic connectivity in the South Caucasus. #Iran#SouthCaucasus#Tehran

@realDonaldTrump is right: •John Stuart Mill: “The only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community is to prevent harm to others.”
“If Iran shots and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” - President DONALD J. TRUMP
After the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh, the Azeri regime is still holding onto the civilian political leadership of Artsakh: its prior presidents, ministers, and parliament members, as well as dozens of others as hostages to coerce further territorial concessions from Armenia.
The regime threatens to invade Armenia if they don't cede several towns and villages inside Armenia's territorial boundaries. Today, Azerbaijani bulldozers are destroying what remains of Armenian heritage in Artsakh. If left without international support, the Armenian Genocide of 1915 will be finalized in the coming weeks and months.
We must act now to hold Azerbaijan accountable by calling for the release of the hostages and enforcing sanctions until a safe and viable path for the return of the indigenous Armenians to Artsakh is achieved. Though today we commemorate the 109th anniversary of the beginning of the Armenian Genocide, the plight of the Armenians is not over – and we must recommit ourselves to end the ethnic cleansing and defend Armenians’ right to self-determination.
