The 12th #InternationalDayofYoga was celebrated at Delhi Naval Station with great enthusiasm, where over 2000 naval personnel and families joined mass yoga sessions at various naval locations.
The main event, held at Chanakya Bagh Football Ground, saw participation of over 1,000 personnel and family members led by VAdm Ajay Kochhar, #VCNS, and conducted by Patanjali Yuva Bharat instructors.

A significant milestone for sports infrastructure at Delhi Naval Station! The newly renovated Squash Courts at Naval Officers Mess Varuna were inaugurated on 17 June by RAdm Sandeep Mehta, DG Varsha, an ace squash player himself.
Renovated by MES, the two courts have been built to World Squash Federation standards in line with Indian Navy’s continued commitment to fitness and well-being of its personnel and families. The inauguration was followed by an exciting Inaugural Match.

As a part of the celebrations of #InternationalDayOfYoga2026, a rejuvenating Nature Walk & Yoga Session was conducted for naval personnel and families at the historic Mehrauli Archaeological Park.
Around 80 participants enjoyed the serenity of nature, fresh monsoon breeze, heritage architecture, and a vibrant yoga & meditation session against the magnificent backdrop of Qutub Minar. The morning was filled with energy, mindfulness, and well-being under the guidance of experienced yoga instructors

🐎✨ As part of INS India Summer Camp 2026, the Basic Horse Riding Course for children and ladies was successfully conducted with the support of the Indian Navy Polo and Equestrian Contingent (INPEC) team.
A total of 25 participants completed 21 days of structured training in horse riding, horse handling, riding discipline, and safety awareness under qualified instructors.
The programme enhanced confidence, fitness, discipline, and adventure skills, making it a resounding success. 🇮🇳

The calm breeze, pleasant weather, and tranquil natural surroundings created the perfect setting for participants to reconnect with themselves and begin the day with positivity and purpose.

Inaugurated by Adm Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, #CNS; Mrs Shashi Tripathi, President #NWWA; Mr Ajai Shukla, MD & CEO PNBHFL and Ms Gita Nayyar, Chairperson, CSR Committee PNBHFL, the facility will strengthen emergency and diagnostic care for the 15000+ strong Naval Community at Delhi-NCR comprising serving personnel, veterans and their families.
The advanced imaging capabilities will significantly enhance trauma management and critical care, particularly during the crucial ‘golden hour’ in emergency medical situations.

As part of a CSR initiative, M/s Bharat Forge presented an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance to the Indian Navy. On behalf of the Navy, Vice Admiral CR Praveen Nair, Controller Personnel Services formally accepted the ambulance from RAdm Sanjay Vadgaonkar (Retd) Principal Advisor, Bharat Forge.
The state-of-the-art ambulance is equipped with modern life-saving equipment including a ventilator, infusion pump, oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrator, defibrillator, foldable stretchers and other essential emergency care facilities. Inducted into the fleet of critical care vehicles at INS India, the ambulance will go a long way towards benefitting the large naval community at Station Delhi, comprising naval personnel, veterans and their dependents.

Vice Admiral CR Praveen Nair, AVSM, NM, Controller Personnel Services, inaugurated ‘Alankaar’, the newly constructed Band Complex of INS India, at Chanakyabagh, New Delhi.
This state-of-the-art facility features two soundproof halls customised to accommodate the Brass and Jazz Bands, a Recording Studio with advanced audio recording and production facilities, as well as amenities for the musicians.
Designed to foster musical excellence and professional training, Alankaar will serve the INS India Band and music students of NCS Chanakyapuri; providing world-class infrastructure for rehearsals, performances, recordings, and the preservation of naval musical traditions.
