Earlier, I tweeted this:
“#DMK’s biggest mistake was uncertainity in how to oppose Vijay.
Inside: treated him as a real threat.
Outside: pretended he didn’t exist.
That contradiction broke message discipline. Cadres didn’t know: Ignore? Attack? Or take him seriously?
In politics, you either define your opponent early… or you let them define themselves.
#DMK chose confusion. Vijay gained clarity.”
But that was election strategy. Different phase.
Now DMK is making another strategic mistake — this time during governance.
When you are ruling, the public expects maturity, stability, and responsibility. Not constant reactions and unnecessary attacks for every small issue. Opposition-style politics while being in power creates fatigue.
Criticism is important in democracy. But it has to feel credible, proportionate, and rooted in genuine governance concerns.
If every issue becomes a political attack, eventually even valid criticism loses weight.
This current pattern feels strategically self-destructive for DMK.
Such should be the voice of an opposition! 👏🏼
Assembly sessions are not the same anymore. The youth are now watching closely. Constructive criticism will be respected, while cheap sarcasm will be rejected with disgust. LoP should decide where he stands!
