The other day I couldn't help but shed a tear reviewing future product designs with the team. I'm really proud of how far we've come.
Our first phone was 2022. It's really only been two years. We've got so much ahead of us.
July 8 can't come soon enough. It's time to put another dent into this industry.
Day 1 of revealing CMF Phone 1.
Over the next 9 days we will reveal one component at a time, starting with our impressive 6.67" Super AMOLED display: enjoy smoother scrolling with a 120Hz refresh rate, vibrant and lifelike colours with HDR10+ support, and clear visibility in any light with 2000 nits peak brightness.
A wonderful turn of events.
Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2 join Phone 1 in the new CMF by Nothing line-up.

I’m proud of our incredibly talented team who excel at thoughtfully integrating hardware and software... with a dash of fun! A very rare skill in this day and age. We’re looking forward to what happens when we apply these skills to a new market segment. If Phone (2a) shook up the mid-range market, I expect the CMF Phone 1 to do even bigger things to the budget segment. 🤞
Introducing CMF Phone 1. Wonderful by design.
Leveraging @nothing's innovation and meticulous attention to design, it serves as a wonderful entry point to our entire product ecosystem.
As others overlook this category, we're giving it our full attention.
Coming soon.
There's been a lot of hype around AI. Some great, some confusing. It’s great to see new companies rethinking the user experience and form factors. However, there is no doubt that smartphones will remain the main consumer AI form factor for the foreseeable future. With over 4 billion users and over 1 billion smartphones shipped every year—the numbers speak for themselves.
The way we use our smartphones needs to be redefined. The current user experience hasn't evolved for more than a decade! The next era needs a highly personalized, dynamic, and cross-device interface. One that also creates a human connection that makes tech feel more at ease to interact with.
For the last two months, we’ve been designing and prototyping AI interactions. Today, I want to show you some initial concepts to give you a better idea of what I’m talking about. Expect this to be improved and gradually introduced, starting with Phone (3) next year. It’s important we get the product right, integrating hardware and AI in a way that is both useful and brings a smile to people’s faces.
Over the last 3.5 years, we’ve been busy establishing our end to end capabilities. We’ve come a long way, being the only company that built a smartphone business in the last 10 years. We’ve also developed a creative culture in the company that emphasizes great UX and thoughtful integration between software and hardware. And as we reach stability and with solid growth plans, we’re ready to shift gears.
See this as us throwing our hat into the consumer AI race! 🏁
While there is a lot of buzz around AI, it seems that many people aren't using the available tools, even though there is no doubt that they are game-changing. This is because there is still a lot of friction from a user experience perspective in facilitating their usage. Integrating existing AI tools on a system level to make the user experience seamless is just a first step for us. Exciting times ahead!
I am thrilled to join as the President for @nothingindia. I look forward to working with @getpeid and the passionate team at Nothing. Let's make tech fun again!
