Let me answer all the questions around the trade deal

Q: Before Trump, tariffs on India were only 3-4% or so. Now it is 18%. So why should we celebrate?

A: But Trump has raised tariffs on all competitors also (China 34%, Vietnam 20%, Bangladesh 19%, etc)

Q: Why should we care what tariff on others is?

A: Because tariff is paid by the importer, not the exporter. It only matters whether the tariff on India is more or less than competitors. If Trump charges 500% tariff on Indian textiles, and 501% tariff on Bangladesh textiles, Americans will buy Indian textiles. Yes, Americans will pay higher prices.

Q: But Trump says India is cutting tariff on American goods to zero. How is that fair?

A: It barely matters if India puts tariffs on American goods. Everything is much more costly to make in America. Even with 0% tariff, a shirt imported from America will be 5 times more costly than a shirt made in India. So nobody is going to buy them. Only exceptions would be high end luxury goods. These will actually be cheaper for handful of Indians now who can afford them.

Q: But now India has promised to buy $500 billion worth of stuff from America.

A: That is just headline management by Trump. India already imports ~$50 billion a year worth from America. In 6-7 years, of course we will end up buying $500 billion worth of stuff from America anyway. Especially if we include oil.

Q: But now India cannot import Russian oil.

A: Buying Russian oil is not a moral necessity.

You first need to know the difference between Praying and taking Blessings. Unlike Abrahamic Religions Dharmic culture do not conceive God as a Tyrrant, so they don't need to pray. Success in materializing any objective depends on the factors involving Forces of Nature, and there will always be factors left out by humans before attempting to materialize their Resolutions. Taking Blessings from God means seeking to bring into their Consciousness the unaccounted factors, and seeking from the Forces of Nature favourable conditions to realise the objective.
