That’s the rule I’m trying to use with Scrubmyo now:
If a feature isn’t necessary to test the core problem, it doesn’t need to be in the first version.
I’d rather learn from users than spend another 10 hours protecting a feature.
I spent 8–12 hours trying to fix one feature in my MVP.
Then I removed it.
That probably taught me more about building a product than actually fixing it would have.
As a non-technical founder, I’m learning that building isn’t only about finding ways to add things.
Sometimes the better product decision is:
cut it,
move on,
learn from real users first.
A year ago, I was spending hours searching for jobs, tailoring applications, reading Reddit threads and watching videos.
What surprised me most wasn’t rejection.
It was repeating the same information again and again.
I used to think building the MVP was the hard part.
Now I think getting the first people to care is harder.
You can launch a product in weeks.
Earning attention takes much longer.
That's the part I'm learning while building Scrubmyo.
Instagram saved folder = the gym membership of the internet.
You sign up full of hope.
You never go back.
You feel guilty every time you see it.
I have 400+ saved reels and I've actually used maybe 3. 💀
Drop a 🙋 if your saved folder is a graveyard too.
Santa offers you a reset button:
Press it, and you’re back in your university days—young, full of dreams.
But the catch?
👉 Your career, family, & everything you’ve built will vanish.
Would you hit RESET or cherish the present? 🤔
