VIDEO | Telangana: Mango, tomato, and tamarind chutneys are staples in many Indian households, however, tribal communities in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district have long cherished a unique delicacy, a chutney prepared from red ants and their eggs.
Charan, a tribal farmer says, "The chutney is prepared by collecting red ants and their eggs from nests found on forest trees and grinding them using traditional methods. We remove the inedible parts from it and cook it. It has a lot of health benefits such as, curing headache and fever."
Often regarded by locals as a natural “Sanjeevini,” or life-giving remedy, this chutney is believed to boost immunity, ward off seasonal illnesses, and promote overall well-being.

Back in school, teachers would ask “What do you want to become when you grow up?”
I’d say “Police, doctor, this, that.”
Now if she asks, I’d just say “I want to become a small baby again” 😭
