Saw a female dog in severe distress.

Searched "Dog NGO near me", made a few calls, and reached People for Animals. Ms. Kabita quickly arranged an ambulance and treatment.

Happy to share she's recovering well and will soon be back, healthy and pain-free.

सियाचिन में साथियों को बचाने में शहीद हुए कैप्टन अंशुमान सिंह के परिवार को उनके अदम्य साहस और बहादुरी के लिए 5 जुलाई 2024 को राष्ट्रपति ने कीर्ति चक्र से सम्मानित किया था. लेकिन अब अंशुमान सिंह के माता-पिता का एक और दर्द सामने आया है. आरोप है कि शहीद अंशुमान सिंह की पत्नी स्मृति अपने पति की फोटो एल्बम, कपड़े और अन्य यादों के साथ सरकार के द्वारा दिए गए कीर्ति चक्र को लेकर अपने घर अपने घर गुरदासपुर चली गई हैं. आरोपों के अनुसार, वह न सिर्फ माता-पिता के शहीद बेटे का मेडल लेकर गईं बल्कि उसके दस्तावेजों में दर्ज स्थायी पते को भी बदलवाकर अपने घर गुरदासपुर का करवा दिया है. हालांकि इस मामले पर अभी तक स्मृति का कोई बयान सामने नहीं आया है. शहीद अंशुमान सिंह के पिता राम प्रताप सिंह ने आजतक से बात करते हुए कहा कि हमने बेटे की मर्जी से ही स्मृति से शादी की थी. हमने बड़े धूमधाम से अरमानों के साथ शादी की थी. शादी में ना हमारी तरफ से और ना ही स्मृति के परिवार वालों की तरफ से कोई कमी रखी गई. हम सब बहुत खुश थे. शादी के बाद स्मृति नोएडा में बीडीएस की पढ़ाई कर रही मेरी बेटी के साथ फ्लैट में ही रहने लगी थी.

उन्होंने कहा, '19 जुलाई 2023 को जब बेटा शहीद हुआ, तब बहू स्मृति और बेटी नोएडा में ही थे. मैंने ही कह कर दोनों को कैब से लखनऊ बुलवाया और लखनऊ से हम गोरखपुर गए. वहां अंतिम संस्कार किया गया. लेकिन तेरहवीं के अगले ही दिन बहू स्मृति ने घर जाने की जिद कर ली.' राम प्रताप सिंह ने कहा, 'स्मृति के पिता ने बेटी की पूरी जिंदगी का हवाला दिया तो मैंने खुद कहा कि अब यह मेरी बहू नहीं बेटी है और अगर स्मृति चाहेगी तो हम दोनों मिलकर इसकी दोबारा शादी करेंगे और बेटी के तौर पर मैं विदा करूंगा.' उन्होंने आगे बताया, 'स्मृति तेरहवीं के अगले दिन अपनी मां के साथ नोएडा चली गई. नोएडा में वह मेरे बेटे से जुड़ी हर चीज, उसकी तस्वीर, उसकी शादी के एल्बम सर्टिफिकेट कपड़े सब लेकर अपने मां-बाप के पास चली गई. हमें इसकी जानकारी तब हुई जब मेरी बेटी वापस नोएडा गई तो वहां फ्लैट में बेटे अंशुमान का कोई भी समान नहीं था.' शहीद अंशुमान के पिता ने कहा, 'बेटे को उसके अदम्य साहस के लिए कीर्ति चक्र मिला तो नियम था कि मां और पत्नी दोनों यह सम्मान लेने के लिए जाते हैं. अंशुमान की मां भी साथ गई थीं. राष्ट्रपति ने मेरे बेटे की शहादत पर कीर्ति चक्र दिया लेकिन मैं तो उसको एक बार छू भी नहीं पाया.'
