People on bicycles have the same rights and responsibilities as people behind the wheel of a vehicle.
Give cyclists room. Do not pass too closely. Pass bicyclists as you would any other vehicle—when it’s safe to move over into an adjacent lane.
We are very excited to see infrastructure that helps protect people riding bikes!
If we want to see more people using non-motorized modes of transportation, we must make sure people feel safe and comfortable.
9 years ago we advocated for the buffered section of the Detroit Avenue bike lane to be protected with posts. Today it finally happened! Thanks to @ohiocitytweets and @NOACA_MPO. Drop in the comments where this needs to happen next.

Thank you @Bike_CLE for hosting this important event.
Join us this Thursday morning at 8:30am for our annual Ride for Sylvia. This ride is in memory of Sylvia Bingham and all cyclists who have been injured or killed on Cleveland's roads while biking.

We will continue to work towards the only acceptable number: zero.
Car crashes are a leading cause of injury in children. Buckling kids in appropriate car seats, booster seats, & seat belts reduce serious + fatal injuries by up to 80%.

#ICYMI Some very exciting infrastructure was laid on our roads yesterday!
Speed tables force drivers to slow down and this will save lives. Thank you to @CleCityCouncil and @CityofCleveland for investing in the safety for all road users!
Today, the first speed table was installed as part of a pilot traffic calming initiative to slow traffic in neighborhoods across the city and stop speeding in common crash areas.
