i spent some time with Taiwo Adeyemi for @wallpapermag, discussing the importance of documenting nigeria’s film history and his work with @visitld in providing more context on nollywood for the younger generation.

Thanks to everyone who made this week memorable for us. Our partners, patrons, guests, and the team who worked tirelessly to bring this project to life.
Our mission to preserve the history of film in Nigeria is unwavering, and we cannot wait to share what’s next with you all.
Kudos to everyone who worked towards bringing the #LosingDaylight Nollywood film history exhibition to life.
Two times a charm, there’s clearly a market for more interesting stuff like this. 🔥
I attended Losing daylight exhibition today.
It amazing how how you experience Nollywood from heritage from inception till date.
It was a nostalgic experience.
We captured one of the many warm hugs I got from Mama J. She spoke about the rebirth of Theatre. She took us to her childhood and brought us back to present day.

I was young and did not fully understand ‘Checkmate’. When I was 7, I understood ‘Violated’ to a good extent. It was the family centred/friendly story on VHS. I always admired @OfficialEgoBoyo. More to come.
Almost 3 decades later, just see 👇🏽 #LosingDaylight

Celebrating film history in Nigeria will be in incomplete without honouring the music that lived rent-free in our heads.
We will be closing Losing Daylight on Friday with #SoundtrackLive, an evening of the music from the movies that made us. 🎶
