From my experience trekking in the Everest region, Dingboche is a great acclimatization stop, higher, sunnier, and ideal for the popular Nangkartshang Peak hike. Pheriche is lower, quieter, and has the Himalayan Rescue Association clinic nearby.
👉 Stay in Dingboche on the way up for acclimatization and use Pheriche on the way down for a quieter recovery.

In the past, during natural disasters in Nepal, some individuals were found collecting donations in the name of relief efforts and asking people to send money to their personal bank accounts. To prevent such situations from happening again, the government has taken this decision.
If anyone wishes to support people affected by the recent floods, they can make a donation through the QR code provided above. The QR code is linked to the Nepal government's prime minister's relief fund. This is an official and secure way to contribute to the relief efforts for flood-affected people.
