It's the first June weekend in Twin Lakes and the historic Village is fully open including new places to shop, eat and stay. Indy Pass is open. PLUS it's Free Fishing Weekend throughout the state including Twin Lakes, the Forebay and the shores of the Arkansas River.

⚠️ Beware Avalanche Danger! CO has more avalanche deaths than any other state. In fact, between 1859-2006, at least 700 people died in avalanches in CO. During the 2020–2021 snow year, 37 people were killed in snow slides, 12 of which were in CO. So stay safe out there!

Twin Lakes is a likely viewing spot to see Z cars (and visit with drivers) in the Rally to ZFest 2022. On 6/26, beginning about 10 AM, BMW Z cars head to Indy Pass on the way to the Snowmass. Then on 6/30 drivers travel between Snowmass and Salida. Some will stop in Twin Lakes.
