@kstephenson93@Reeddirect And a D1.5 rather than a straight D1 remake could justifiably go all the way up to Forsaken. Much easier to convince the execs to do that than remake Red War/Forsaken for D2.
@PaulTassi If Echoes+EoF+Ren are treated as pseudo-setup for D3, D3 opens with a Torobatl/Xivu campaign, and then year 1/year 2 content is dealing with the fact we were away for a long time taking Torobatl and we have to clean up the mess of those plotlines getting "worse" without us...
@PaulTassi The most likely reason for a Destiny Classic (or as I usually call it, Destiny 1.5) to ever exist would have to be getting the D1 story to PC, that's the biggest gap in Destiny's availability right now.
@Option_Zero@Luiscarazo Same as using a spellcasting focus and a shield, your focus substitutes material, meaning you can perform somatic components with your focus hand. Subtle isn't needed. The only issue you run into is spells with somatic but no material, then you need a free hand.
@Option_Zero@Luiscarazo BB (and GFB) are weird ones. Rules on spellcasting say material and somatic components can be fulfilled by the same hand, and since the material component IS the weapon it's implied you don't need your other hand, just your weapon hand.
@Xbyte_@lp_theory I spent the New Zealand show next to a kid begging for New Divide while I was screaming for Keys to the Kingdom, both of us confused by the other's choice π€£ So I fully agree with you on this, although I'd possibly go Mark the Graves or A Line in the Sand for this question.
@ryankatzrosene The trick is the wording... it doesn't say "types that originate from", just "from". Your best bet is to just pick local, otherwise your ability to eat is subject to a supply chain from that region and paying for the transport costs.
@softdrinksucker@kamipapa2 Huh, so this made me look it up and I learned our labelling is unique. In New Zealand, Mountain Dew is labelled as a "citrus flavoured cola," likely due to the caffeine, but also cola flavouring is listed on the ingredients. I didn't realise that wasn't the case everywhere!
@MiseryInTheEnd@BoxeoPats To me, it has always felt like it does completely belong between DS and AIT sonically; not in an awkward transitiony way like many sophomore releases, but truly containing the best of what also makes DS and AIT great. PTMY has always been my favourite since 2015!
@CupcakeWarlock@NuCaloric@fure_fox I mean, "just unvault" hasn't changed from "needs to be rebuilt after the engine rework" just because time has passed. It would truly be easier for them to re-release the season of opulence game state as Destiny 1.5 on the old build.
@MrAkaPro@CultureCrave He's truly excellent! If you wanna see his chops, check out the NZ tv show Outrageous Fortune where he plays twins all 6 seasons. I think the whole series is on YouTube now.
@mihirmodi@StarkaliciousTS@spectrumarvel But... the original is stronger. Nat could have let Clint go, got the stone and lived. Plus at that stage it was only to bring others back.
Tony, however, was the only one who could use the stones, and if he failed Thanos would end him anyway. He did have to sacrifice himself.
@LPLive I want Mark the Graves so badly, you have no idea ππ
Although, I truly believe the day they let Emily loose on War will be a day that changes everything.
@DreamBrover@Q_Review I'm not defending the choice to do all that, just relieved that we aren't currently working with a character who has unlimited regens.
@DreamBrover@Q_Review To be fair, to take infinite regenerations into the future, a writer would still have to tell the story of the Doctor opening the watch and removing their Gallifreyan chameloning and retrieving their past memories. At this point they're still limited.
@robbiedaymond@MeganStrand1 Oh, you're in my home city! I moved away in September and I miss being there dearly β€
Admittedly I'm only a 4hr drive away, but it's so hard to find time to head back. Enjoy it!
