🚨🗣️ Declan Rice: "Gabriel and Eze missing penalties? We love them and we are with them. It happens in football."
"They won't be the last players to miss penalties in finals, and without those two we wouldn't have won the Premier League."
🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry: “I don't usually talk about referees, but Arsenal were incredibly unlucky tonight. The penalty incident was clear to me, and the halftime whistle just before a dangerous set-piece was difficult to understand. After that, it felt like every important decision went PSG's way. Arsenal never got the consistency they deserved from the officials. PSG will celebrate the trophy, but the refereeing will be one of the biggest talking points of this final.”

"I want to reassure all Kenyans that as of May 29th, we do not have any confirmed cases of Ebola Virus Disease within our borders. Our surveillance systems are working as intended—we have swiftly tested 16 suspected cases from across the country, and I can confirm that all have returned negative."

The ALIGN Kenya project team had a productive engagement with the Ministry of Health’s Director of Health Products and Technologies Dr. Nazila Ganatra on strengthening health products technology governance including the prioritization and introduction landscape in Kenya. The aim of the meeting was to improve access to quality, affordable, and evidence-based health products in Kenya. The discussions focused on revising the @MOH_Kenya HPT Policy and Guidelines, setting up a sector-wide product Health Technology Assessment process, and building stronger systems to support Universal Health Coverage.
The meeting, attended by Prof. Fred Were and Dr. Wilson Liambila, also explored opportunities to support local manufacturing, sustainable healthcare solutions, digital market intelligence systems, and better coordination around health products donations, procurement, and product introduction. These collaborative efforts are building towards an efficient and effective portfolio-based health products introduction system in Kenya.

Our medical team at Bondo Sub County Hospital has made history by successfully delivering a baby girl from a rare, life threatening abdominal (ectopic) pregnancy.
Mama Nancy Akinyi and her 1kg miracle baby, Blessing Violet, are now healthy and discharged after 3 months of dedicated, round the clock care in our new Newborn Baby Unit (NBU). This is what happens when clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassion converge. I highly commend Dr. Evans Ogoti, our nurses, CHPs, and the entire theatre and NBU teams for their unwavering dedication to saving lives.
To ensure dignified, quality care for every resident, we are building an ultra modern theatre complex with an integrated NBU and a new inpatient complex at Bondo Hospital. We are also recruiting more doctors, nurses, and clinical officers by July to boost our capacity.
Through these deliberate efforts, Siaya is now ranked 9th out of 47 counties in reducing maternal mortality. No mother should lose her life while bringing forth new life. We will not relent.
