In the current time, no agent should promise the slots and in anyway get it in 1-2 weeks or even under 1 month as a guarantee. Because its not possible, random few may get lucky but not all.
Singapore visa is as easy as it gets and you should only use registered Singapore embassy agent or People who have connections in Singapore. I recently helped someone in my close circle who didn't have time to go to any agent or send her passport get her Singapore visa in under 24 hours. (I DONT DO SINGAPORE VISA, IT WAS AN exception). Anyone else doing Singapore visa is just using a registered agent and adding his mark up. Singapore embassy has strict rules around it. (List of those agents are on embassy/Consulate website)
While US visa is something different, its tough and things are evolving rapidly. I have had clients who I have booked next day, I had few people who reached out to me on X and we were able to book slots for them in 5 minutes but things aren't the same.
Yes, Visa is a big problem and I am very very confident about myself, our team @viszapp that we are doing a fabulous job but I know multiple agencies who lie, who cheat and deceive the innocent.
Trust me, whem it comes to US visa or most of the visas that we do, we are one of the best, if not best. Even now we have been able to get a lot of our clients quick slots, but that's in exchange of flexibility but I will tell you based on our datasets and an "expert" its very very tough, there are literally no slots and some cities like Mumbai haven't had slots in ages (both).
My clients parents had UK visa appointment 2 days ago, everything was taken care of.
I specially said to them to not take any premium lounge or any value add service and they agreed. For UK you only go to give biometrics, everything else can be done by you, back at home.
But VFS pulled the classic trickery of making the situation tricky, then making it look like they are the saviour and if you miss taking this service you might face issues like denied boarding and billed them 1200/pp as UKVI setup service.
This is a simple process which you can do by just following the email that you receive after the evisa approval, now the best part is, god forbids your visa gets rejected. There's no need to set up UKVI account if visa is rejected.
One of the greatest visa story! Or the lessons for every one out there who play with Schengen visa rule.
And also honest mistakes are not the end of the road, way forward.
This couple visa shopped and had their visas cancelled at airport (yes boys! It can happen, ALO is in direct touch with the airlines and the check in folks can get your visa cancelled)
Their story, last yeat their agent encouraged them to visa shop ( they had no idea about this being not allowed) caught at airport, denied boarding. Simultaneously Swiss embassy emailed them to visit the embassy.
Visa was revoked and the refusal/revocation letter was handed out and since then everytime they crossed Indian immigration they were unecessarily questioned and had inconvenient situation.
Travel history- UK, US and even Schengen in past.
They were in touch with me, we applied for their Schengen visa even with a visa cancellation and visa shopping issues, they got the new visa.
Do not visa shop guys!
US Visa appointment scheduling new rules (the unsaid/hidden rules)
There are new rules that are now applicable and they are good for most customers.
1.) You can't complete the profile without completing and submitting the DS 160
2.) Your DOB should match exactly in the scheduling website and ds 160. If there's a mismatch, the ds 160 won't get linked. Remember the date is the scheduler is in US format MM/DD/YYYY
What to do in case there's any error?
Simply do this :-
Login to https://t.co/nkxvi6rcch, move to Feedback/requests section and raise a new incident with following details
First Name (as per your valid passport)
Last Name (as per your valid passport)
Your Valid Passport Number
Date of Birth in month/Date/Year format (as per your valid passport)
Country of Birth (as per your valid passport)
Which of the above data needs correction?
Reason for incorrect data entered in your profile
Your Profile UID number (You can find it in your profile at the top right corner, below your
name)
Attach your passport biodata pages (first and last page) or any other document to establish
the correctness of the data you want to rectify.
And submit it. They will fix it in 24 hours. Previously this wasn't possible to be fixed and had no repercussions either.
Why are they good?
This saves people from making mistakes while entering the ds 160. Previously if your ds 160 number was wrong and your confirmation didn't match, your appointment used to get wasted.
There's a small change coming to @viszapp starting tomorrow, Ridam will start transitioning out of Viszapp with his last day being 15th May.
He has graciously extended his support in completing the pending work and leftovers before he completes the transition.
Hence, starting today please do not reach out to him for any new orders, queries. All other Viszapp channels including telegram and emails are active.
I wish @rhythmnibjia all the best for his future journey!
Story Time!
One of my clients wanted to take his mother for a Christmas trip to UK, his sister was also in UK.
I helped him apply for his UK visa, he got it and then we worked on mothers application.
But sadly the visa was rejected, I saw the reason and it was clearly a visa officers personal bias (as much as you think it works on SOP, it doesn't)
We challenged the decison, we explained our merits and it took time. Long time almost 6 months but the visa was approved today.
Well, Switzerland immigration department or State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) which is based out in Bern doesn't really think very highly of India.
One of the well settled, well to do applicant was rejected by Switzerland that rejection was a surprise but applicant insisted on appeal so we went ahead with it.
1.) It's not free, you pay an additional fee of CHF 200
2.) It's not dealt by embassy but directly by SEM, no additional documentation are allowed while submitting the appeal.
3.) Weirdly SEM emailed back asking for documents which were not allowed by embassy
4.) Now the most brutal part is what they think about us- read the appeal rejection letter. The image that a lot many countries have about India is why many visas get rejected.
Small tip- No matter what, never waste your money on Switzerland appeal.
We recently had a client who applied on their own and got rejected, came to us we worked and re-applied visa approved.
VFS needs to mend their ways or else one day or the other their regin will/should end.
Last week @ujjwal1600 contacted me for one of his family members Schengen visa, I planned out things for the family member, made the documents docket ready and due to the time sensitivity booked the slots in the VAC where the appointment was available earliest.
Fast forward to the appointment date, VFS ensured that the applicant goes through hell, I will share the entire experience below and you be the judge. The VFS experience is far from universal but what's common is malpractices, fear mongering and preying on vulnerable clients.
Preface :- Applicant was taking a 4 hours one way journey to reach the VFS center and had an immediate travel plan, so it was very important for the application to be accepted or else this was a missed opportunity, wasted time and more so an appointment being wasted which in itself was worth 4.8k INR
Nightmare:-
VFS employee after checking the applications pointed out at few mistakes and said to correct this by a certain time or application wouldn't be submitted.
1.) Applicant was a mother and she was applying for herself and her daughter, while the travel plan was with Father, he already held an active visa and due to his professional commitment couldn't have visited VFS (neither is it required). I had ensured that the cover letter covers this aspect, it had clearly mentioned that as father and mother are traveling together there's no additional consent letter being provided and additionally his signature can be taken as a declaration for same, further joint tickets, hotel bookings were also pointed out with both parents signature
But VFS lady asked why is father not here? And when the applicant explained the situation, VFS lady insisted a NOC from father - This is absurd and if there's a clear evidence of Father and mother traveling together there's no NOC requirement but VFS lady won't listen. We had already provided a signed declaration from father and still a separate NOC was requested.
2.) VFS had problem on why daughters application has filled by mother written on it but Mothers application has no name written in that section.
When explained that section reads "if filled by other person than the applicant is when the name is reqd" and as applicant filled her own application and as the website allowed to skip, it was skipped.
the counter argument given was this is the new rule. Typical playbook, intimidate the applicants with the "rulebook" because most will become scared and try asking them for a solution (ahem ahem premium lounge is the answer to all your woes)
3.) Surname at birth :- Now as per Schengen visa application guides even shared by vfs, Surname at birth is a mandatory requirement and even if it's same, put the same but in her case VFS had a problem on why is it written there when it's not there in passport?
Like seriously?
4.) Applicant was given around half an hour to get all things corrected or lose the appointment. Now they have created a sense of urgency and most people would have given up by now.
But this was different, applicant knew me personally and hence contacted me, I arranged new forms and requested her to ignore all the other requests (like fathers noc, remove surname at birth) and asked the applicant to ask for supervisor, the agent is horribly wrong.
Applicant went back with just the change done as requested in point 2. Even that was not needed but let it be, it was done.
Now applicant met a new agent who accepted all the docs, no questions asked.
Visa applied on 21st April, approved on 24th
Results :- Mother got 3 years visa, Daughter (baby) 1 year visa. They weren't eligible under Cascade regime.
That's VFS for you! A perfect application was troubled and embassy the original decison maker processed the application in almost 48 hours.
VFS might scare you but if you are confident and you know what you are doing don't get intimidated.
China Visa process on the contrary has been made more inefficient, cumbersome and illogical.
Unlike the original assumption, even after all your documents are accepted and you get a Visa application certificate (approval email)
There's still a possibility of visa getting rejected.
I have now receivee multiple DMs about the same, the most impacted category is business visa.
Processing times are very high, unlike last year the process now can easily take upto 1 month.
3 rejections of UK visa to 10 years visa! In around 2 years.
Story of my client cum friend, Before I started Viszapp, I was reached out by one gentleman on twitter, he would chase me for visa assistance but sadly we weren't able to sync time zones, we eventually
I used to help people for free, without any charges but this gentleman said he can't take my assistance without him paying, I said ok you can tip me whatever you like, I sent him a payment link and he tipped me a X amount which felt like a typo, I reached back to him stating he probably tipped me wrong but he said he know what he did and this is a legit number as per him.
I worked with him and there he was with his first UK visa, he pushed me for viszapp and told me to start this and this is a service which he feels people need more so in areas like Punjab where many agents scam innocent.
Fast forward to today, he has now received a 10 years Visa.
Another Jewel of a guy, travel freak comes from an affluent Chandigarh business Family related to Pharma and not just an inspiration for Viszapp but he has been readily willing to invest in Viszapp as well 😅
As I have said, get on Social media, do something or showcase something which are you are very good at. Back it and see the wonderful things happening.
Last 2 -3 days have been surreal at Viszapp, so many close friends and families have received their visas for countries across the Globe.
I don’t usually write long posts like this, but this one is genuinely from the ♥️
A huge thank you to @kenu73@viszapp for helping my parents get their US visa at a time when it honestly felt almost impossible. With appointment wait times stretching endlessly, we were quite stressed and unsure if things would work out in time. But he stepped in, stayed patient throughout, and somehow managed to secure them a slot within just a month, something that felt unreal given the situation.
What really stood out to me wasn’t just getting the slot, but the way he handled everything from start to finish. He took out time to personally guide my parents over a call, explained the process in a very simple and reassuring way, and made sure they walked into the interview feeling confident instead of nervous. That human touch makes all the difference, especially when parents are involved and you cannot be physically present with them.
And today, their visas got approved🥳This would not have been possible without his constant support, clarity, and experience.
If you have followed him for a while, you will know he is someone who shares honest advice, calls out misinformation, and genuinely tries to help people navigate travel and visa complexities without unnecessary noise. And this experience just reinforced that for my parents as well.
Super reliable and responsive, and someone who actually cares about getting things done the right way. In situations that feel urgent or stressful, having someone like him in your corner brings a lot of peace of mind. Will always be grateful for what he did for my family, and he will definitely be my go to person for anything visa like always 🥂
Immigration and Visas are a field which is filled with dishonest, scamming and folks who have no idea about immigration.
I was recently reached out by someone seeking feedback about an agency called as Unimetri a delhi based agency.
Reason?
Because they saw me their brochure , I was surprised.
Me? How?
The person sent me the brochure and I was shocked.
This agency stole my visa pic from twitter and posted on their brochure as the client success 🙌
And they for now have 100% reviews on google though with just 9 or 10 reviews.
This is how innocent people are preyed upon and immigration consultancies are operating in India.
Glad to have Nikhil as one of our clients at Viszapp. his case was tricky and time sensitive. The fact that he understood and calmly trusted us made our jobs better and his case was further an example that travel history isn't the catholicon for Visa issues. Neither is age or money.
