How does limited dispersal influence the substitution rate of adaptive alleles? @MullonDlm and I look at this in our new study in Genetics: https://t.co/DUYtdsy1h2 In contrast to previous findings, we show that adaptation can be faster under limited dispersal!

We also explore the impact of metapopulation dynamics and the signature of sweeps, finding that limited dispersal softens the sweeps of dominant alleles, and hardens that of recessive ones.
Polymorphism at loci underlying complex traits is maintained over generations, but we can no longer attribute this to sexual antagonism. That's what @EwanFlintham @MullonDlm and colleagues found - great time reading it, congrats!
Sex Unfolded J Monod Conference 3rd edition in incredibly sunny Roscoff. Already 1 week ago. Thanks to all participants! Many new ideas for the #evolutionofsex#recombination, #SexChromosomes#asexuality#evobio#popgen. 4th edition in 5 years by @KarineDoninck and Sylvain Glémin
Excited to share our new paper in @journal_evo! Me and @MullonDlm develop a new framework to investigate the influence of ecological inheritance on correlational selection, especially its role in the emergence of polymorphism #EvolutionaryBiology#Ecology https://t.co/S9Zv9fEqRt
I hope this preprint can gene-rate🧬⏳ some exciting discussion about the pace of adaptation! 📈 New work with @MullonDlm available on @biorxiv_evobio#geneticadaptation
New paper out in @PNASNews with @MullonDlm and Vincent Savolainen investigating the population consequences of sexual conflict. We find these effects can intensify with good genes sexual selection, causing reduced viability in high condition populations! https://t.co/eja9Z6nGCb
Next week's DEE External Seminar is welcoming Denis Roze (hosted by Charles Mullon) for a talk entitled "Quantifying selection for recombination in finite populations". 12:15pm at the Biophore Amphitheater

Recently discovered the features of Shortcut on iOS, so powerful!I’ve automated a GoogleScholar search of text selection on pdfs that makes my life 100% easier: https://t.co/VZ7vt2B6bL Hope it’s also useful for y’all :)
Our new paper on modeling household-level NPIs in the epidemiological dynamics of Covid-19 has been published! You can check at:

@rafalpx Em uma rápida pesquisa no Google: “Áries costuma ter um forte contato com a sua individualidade, que pode parecer egoísmo em alguns momentos.”… os caras são cabeça dura, não adianta 😂
