The Navajo Code Talkers are heroes. They helped our country defeat Nazis & fought for our freedom. It’s despicable that this administration removed this history from their webpages. We will always honor them — even in the face of this administration’s hostility toward veterans.

@StreetsblogLA@YsabelJuradoLA@kdeleon Appreciate more eyes and info on this! It would be laughable how ill-planned the northbound lane is, if it weren't so dangerous. Taking the sidewalk on west side is really the safest route, but with the new parking lot for USC, foot traffic doesn't easily permit.
@LADOTofficial one of the craziest sections to cycle rn around here. Just repaved and no love for cyclists (ie.lane markings), on the way to the the college 😔

Yes, there is weather in this beast, however original delay was due to a pilot calling in sick, so only 2 pilots to get us from Stockholm to Jersey. Then we got stuck with the rest of European travel to find hotels are booked and airline is severely understaffed. #onyourown
@united hotel for the night. Baggage claim #5. Nightmare at Boston Logan after tens of diverted euro flights converged. Landed 2:30, Sat for 5 hrs, hunted bags for 5, all whilst no word from airline other than delay updates to our Newark flight of which we were not at.
@streetsforall (2/2) which finally got a crosswalk, but shop owners along the route say people still don't stop, so it is almost more dangerous than when the crosswalk didn't exist. Drivers are slow to change, but good developments finally coming.
@streetsforall I just traveled through Thai town/Little Armenia (my old riding hood) and saw a ton of temp lines for what looked like some very nice road dieting along one of the deadliest intersections (Hollywood/Winona)— (1/1)
4.5 years to add one traffic signal. Such a broken process.
“But it took more than 4½ years — longer than Alessa’s life — for those new signals to be activated. For Erica and Jaime, their absence was a daily, glaring reminder of the city’s failure.” https://t.co/8bx1cphEEv
