tonight after assembling a new hamper I bought online, I said, with complete sincerity and excitement, “this thing is awesome!”
and I realized the crippling mundanity of adulthood has officially taken over my life.
lol yesterday “kolby” joined Snapchat too but my phone said “your contact, grandma, is on Snapchat!” but the Bitmoji is some basic white teenage boy. still very weird.
the weirdest way to learn that your deceased grandma’s cell phone number has been recycled to someone else is when instagram sends you a notification saying that “your contact, Grandma, is on Instagram. Would you like to follow them?” and then it’s some 12 y/o kid named Kolby.

Building a foundation. Finding pleasure in depth. Ritual. Luxury. Taking one’s time. A well made object. A well cooked meal. Meticulous care about everything. From the day to eternity. Yes. It’s Taurus season. The sign that reminds us real life is an art. https://t.co/wpSdUeOEpK
It’s been hard enough grieving my brother these last 3 weeks without having to deal with ignorant people on the internet. So for some good, here are things that my brother loved:
-Animals, especially dogs
-Baseball
-Cars
-Riding his scooter
-Fortnite
-Making other people smile
