Schrodingers healthcare worker: so important they shouldn’t be allowed to take holiday but not important enough to have a pay rise in line with inflation.

As long as there are still unvaccinated people (both in our country and globally), there will be new variants. If we want this to end, instead of more new waves like Omicron, **everyone** has to be vaccinated. Plain and simple. It's not rocket science (but it is science)
SARS-CoV-2 infection is milder in children. Dowell et al. show that immune responses are higher in children, retained for 12 months or longer and can neutralize Alpha, Beta and Delta variants. https://t.co/qCJLiAP5Ij & see the Research Briefing https://t.co/gQTi6B7iLU
The research bases it’s findings on significance in the n number of participants. A higher n number will offer us with better insight, but (thankfully) we don’t need to analyse the whole paediatric population in the U.K. to draw scientific conclusions
@jmzuo73@ShamezLadhani@AlexD_81@VivaldiBham@Meg_Butler96@paulmos63832199 What about the ones it isn’t mild for?
And how can you be sure that infections are ‘mild’ without considering the hidden health impacts, such as blood vessel damage? Unless we’re following up on every infected child, nobody can possibly know how mild this is to children yet.
Alright, now we have Omicron/B.1.1.529 data too. Neutralization is highly affected, binding not so much.
