In a world where leaders often get caught up in their own image, how can spiritual leaders stay grounded?
In this clip, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (@Gurudev) shares his perspective on true leadership: it’s not about promoting yourself, but about walking the talk, serving society, and giving selflessly. He explains why spirituality thrives in love, connection, and humility, rather than ego or personal gain.

Every experience of the past year, pleasant or unpleasant, has made you wiser, deeper, and stronger. Enter the New Year knowing you are fortunate, and that you are here to give back to society.
Happiness is a habit. It brings humor in your life, lightens tense situations, and makes you resilient amidst challenges. You can only cultivate it when your mind is free from stress. Meditation is THE way to rid your mind of stress.

Rejecting a student-centric, future-focused policy like NEP 2020 is a step backward.
NEP 2020 does not impose any language on any State. Politicising NEP 2020 to sustain political narratives is reprehensible.
Blessed are those who are bored. They can lift their eyes to a higher truth and reality. Be bored with everything in this world, for that boredom beckons you beyond.
Get ready to ring in the New Year in a fun and unique way!

#WATCH | Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar delivers a keynote address at the inaugural session of the first-ever World Meditation Day at the United Nations headquarters, in New York.
He says "Today, meditation is not a luxury as it was thought, but it is a necessity. I would call it mental hygiene. Like you have dental hygiene, we have mental hygiene wherein meditation can help us to be more centred and away from aggression and depression. The mental health crisis has taken a big toll on our population. On one side, our young population is undergoing such aggressive behaviour. On the other side, there is depression. Meditation helps us to be more centred. It brings us sensitivity and sensibility at the same time. The two important factors of any civilized society. We need to be sensitive towards ourselves, towards fellow being and also for the environment. Meditation makes us more conscious about our environment, and conscious about the feelings of people around us. It helps us to stay away from those antisocial activities which would harm oneself and others..."

The Tirupati laddu row has inflicted a deep wound and rage in the Hindu psyche. It is high time that temple management is overseen by, and handed over to, religious leaders and devotees, rather than self-serving officials, ruthless business people and politicians.

You see violence in someone's actions and feel violent toward them. Then you are not much different from that person. Forgiveness saves your mind and spirit from becoming violent about violence.
So what if you're not calm? Wanting to always be calm is an issue. In life, if you get disturbed for a while, so what? You will bounce back. This knowledge acts as a safety valve within you, and this awareness comes with more meditation.

Certainty is often perceived as freedom. Yet, real freedom is feeling liberated amidst uncertainty. Being certain about the uncertainty of the relative world instills a “certain” faith in the absolute!
In moments when you encounter your limitations and boundaries, observe: Are you confined by these boundaries, or can you preserve your freedom, your non-judgmental stance, and innocent love? If you can solidify this, nothing in the world can take away your peace.
Voting is a privilege & a responsibility. For first-time voters in India, world’s largest democracy, it’s a step from childhood to active adulthood. Focus on the big picture, not just local issues. Vote with pride & a vision for future. Your vote is crucial! #LokSabhaElections2024
