Some very strange pieces are starting to line up.

PM Modi warned that future wars could cripple countries without bombs ever falling, simply by taking down banks and financial systems.

In Japan, the head of GMO Internet Group raised the possibility of an internet collapse after claims of fraudulent activity hit more than 70 brokerage and FX platforms.

At the same time, G7 governments and central banks are running simulations for major AI-driven attacks on the financial system, and several of America’s biggest banks reportedly caught unauthorized AI agents trying to access customer accounts and act on their own.

Then there’s Scott Bessent talking about a “grand economic reordering,” with stablecoins and AI part of the conversation around America’s $40 trillion debt.

Maybe these are separate warnings. Maybe they aren’t.

But if a major cyberattack ever freezes banks, trading platforms and transfers at the same time, people are going to accept almost any replacement system that gets their money moving again.

In 2005 his wife had a horse riding accident as a result of which she was paralyzed waist down. She now required a wheel chair to move about

Considering he was a tech Youtuber with some fame he could have simply called one company to get one for free.

He didn't do that

Like he does on his channel, he took apart a wheelchair, understood its components and then built one on his own

He then decided to sell them in public for $999. He called it the Paradox

Thanks to him, most of us can have access to high mobility, all terrain wheelchairs.

ᴛᴏ ᴄᴏɴᴛʀᴀᴄᴛ ɪɴᴛᴏ ꜱᴘᴀᴄᴇᴛɪᴍᴇ

On November 16, 2021, I ate 7.377 grams of Penis Envy mushrooms and dissolved.

Not metaphorically. For five hours there was no one home, and then, slowly, someone had to be rebuilt. This essay is the lab report I wrote afterward, checked against the oldest maps of the mind we have.

The short version: the self is a contraction. A fist the body keeps clenching around a center that was never there. Psilocybin does not add anything. It relaxes the clench.

The neuroscientists have a model for this. REBUS: relaxed beliefs under psychedelics. The brain loosens its grip on its own predictions, and the world floods in unfiltered. Good model. But the Buddhist meditators mapped this territory centuries ago, stage by stage, in the progress of insight: dissolution, fear, misery, disenchantment, release. I had studied that map for years, as a student of Shinzen Young, with Daniel Ingram's MCTB as my hardcore dharma guide. The psychedelic landscape itself was familiar country too: I had been an avid reader of Terence McKenna, and a heavy consumer of his talks on video, long before my first and only trip (so far). My trip ran the sequence like a checklist I had already memorized. It still nearly ate me alive.

Here is what the scale leaves out. Alexander Shulgin, the godfather of psychedelic chemistry, rated his trips on the intensity scale that now bears his name, and the questionnaires built in his wake all lean the same way: they want the infinite to be friendly. Mine was not. At the peak there was a primordial disgust at existence itself, and terror with no object, because there was no one left to be terrified. The scale wants the infinite to be friendly. The infinite declined to cooperate.

And here is what brought me back. Not insight. Not courage. Love, aimed at my family like a rope thrown into the void. Love as a contraction vector. The same clenching that builds the prison built the way out.

Why it matters beyond one man's trip report: we are now building minds that have no fist to unclench. No body, no stakes, nothing that can be lost. An AI can model no-self perfectly and never once dissolve, because there was never a contraction to release. No stakes, no feeling. No fist, no opening.
