Kremlin’s felicitations on PM @narendramodi becoming the longest serving democratically elected Prime Minister of India in consecutive terms:

“I would like to avail myself of this opportunity to inform you that today, on 10th of June, Prime Minister Modi became the doyen of all Indian Prime Ministers. What does a doyen mean? A doyen is a person who is the Prime Minister of the country for the longest term. In fact he was elected on 26 May 2014 and is still heading the world’s biggest democracy. He himself descended from a common family and his career has elevated him to the position of the leader of the largest country in the world, almost one and a half billion people. The country where, during Mr. Modi’s leadership, 250 million people were lifted out of poverty. This is a very important indicator for India which is the country where high technologies are being developed, a country that has become one of the leading economic powers in the world with the fastest rates of economic growth and development. And what is most important for us is that this is the country with which we are united by partnership. The country with which we are developing trade and economic ties in all possible areas. Dialogue is ongoing, including in the most sensitive areas. And we hope that Prime Minister Modi will continue to contribute to further development of the India-Russia relations.”

Советник по национальной безопасности г-н Аджит Довал принял участие в первом Международном форуме по безопасности под эгидой Совета Безопасности Российской Федераци�� и в 14-й ежегодной международной встрече высоких представителей, курирующих вопросы безопасности, которые прошли 28 мая 2026 года в Москве. Мероприятие было организовано Секретарём Совета Безопасности Российской Федерации господином Сергеем Шойгу.

В ходе форума обсуждалась тема «Вызовы и угрозы международной безопасности в условиях формирования многополярного мироустройства».

Советник по национальной безопасности заявил, что в борьбе с терроризмом не может быть двойных стандартов. Ответственные государства обязаны взвесить свои позиции и решит�� - поддерживать спонсоров терроризма или противостоять им решительными действиями.

Советник по национальной безопасности также обратил особое внимание на настоятельную необходимость реформирования международных структур и институтов, созданных по итогам Второй мировой войны в 1945 году, с целью повышения их способности эффективно реагировать на современные угрозы международной безопасности. При этом было особо подчёркнуто, что подобные реформы должны обеспечить более широкое представительство стран Глобального Юга и полноценный учёт их интересов и позиций.

Призвав уделить особое внимание ситуации в Западной Азии, он указал на первостепенную важность обеспечения безопасного и бесперебойного судоходства через международные водные пути, в том числе Ормузский пролив и Красное море.

На полях форума 28-29 мая Советник по национальной безопасности также проведёт ряд двусторонних встреч.

A distinguished delegation of Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officers visited the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department in Lucknow today for an insightful engagement, exploring the state’s rich cultural heritage and immense tourism potential.

Shri Prakhar Mishra, Director, and Ms. Eesha Priya, Special Secretary, U.P. Tourism, along with other officials, warmly welcomed the delegation. They interacted with the officers and gathered valuable insights and suggestions to foster collaboration between the U.P. Tourism Department and various embassies. This partnership aims to unlock tourism opportunities and position Uttar Pradesh as a premier global travel destination.

The officials further discussed strategies to enhance the state's appeal among foreign travelers with higher purchasing power. UP Tourism showcased its Mega Tourism Circuits, with special emphasis on the Spiritual Triangle comprising Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Ayodhya, as well as Eco-Tourism and the Buddhist Tourism Circuit.

Key suggestions included developing dedicated travel and tour programs in coordination with embassies to serve global audiences. Officials also emphasized the importance of promoting culturally enriched and luxury tourism experiences to attract high-value international visitors.
