The horrendous crime that has come to the nation’s attention from Manipur has shaken our belief in humanity. Any crime against women and children should never be tolerated in any society that claims to be civilized. The concerned state administration should take complete responsibility for allowing this to happen. The perpetrators must be brought to justice. I hope and pray that peace returns to Manipur.

எத்தனையோ பேர் விலகிய போதும் நாங்கள் வருந்தியதே இல்லை. இன்றைக்கு விலகினாலும் நாளைக்கு நம்மோடுதானே இருப்பார்கள் என நம்பினோம். ஆனால் இறுதிவரை கூடவே இருந்த அண்ணனை இப்படி இழப்போம் என நினைக்கவில்லை. வெற்றிவேல் அண்ணனின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் சின்னம்மா விசுவாசிகளுக்கும் ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கல்!
