@prasannalara@prasannalara More that KLR, SaiSu is getting trolled. Even the likes if Kohli, Gill, Marsh, Sanju all only have a slightly better SR than him. Sad to see this youngster getting bashed.
@UpdatesChennai I'm really happy there is a change in politics in TN, but they should have been more careful with their promises. Let's see what is going to happen. Parandur is the most progress we've see wrt to a new airport for Chennai.
@UpdatesChennai@UpdatesChennai With the kind of stand on Parandur Airport in the past and the list of election promises that TVK made, I'm starting to believe that TVK themselves wouldn't have expected to become the single largest party.
@UpdatesChennai If they are pushing for Tambaram-Velacherry-Guindy metro line, then this fly over has to be integrated with common pillars. But no they'll do both separately without coordination, occupying more space on the already congested road and take up the next 7-10 years.
@UpdatesChennai No metro for the Radial road is such a disgrace. It really needs metro than the other outer roads considering it is very much part of the core city.
@UpdatesChennai I have had this question from the beginning, how is this considered a red line extension? It's basically a new line starting from one of the stations in red line.
@svignesh44@cmrlofficial And say in 3-4 years time, the stretch will be in its prime, they’ll start constructing and there will be a huge traffic bottleneck. Why can’t we foresee and construct the line before it becomes super busy. Not just here, but anywhere.
@svignesh44@cmrlofficial Exactly! It may not look very busy right now, but by the time they end up completing (say in 10 years after all the delays) the stretch will be at its peak.
@karthi9003 Fortunately or unfortunately, Core Chennai is along the coast and hence it can only grow in North, South and West. If you compare the maps, Core Bangalore should be somewhere near Maduravoyal. So as the city grows, it will be equidistant from all sides unlike Chennai.
@UpdatesChennai@UpdatesChennai Yes, but if you see the size of the airports in TN vs the other states, they all are smaller ones and cater to a much smaller population. Trichy Airport, if I'm not wrong caters to most of the population south, extreme south and east of Trichy for their travel.
@UpdatesChennai2 @UpdatesChennai2 I think they've predicted and included the upcoming delays as well :D Hopefully we should be happy if it's completed by the deadline.
@UpdatesChennai@UpdatesChennai They can redevelop together with the Udhyam Theatre space, maybe in some tie up with them. Udhayam is going to look like Dhrishti bommai amidst the new development and the metro station!
