I agree at the individual level. But at the sovereign level, the frame shifts. Nations don’t operate in abstraction; they respond to constraints, incentives, and strategic realities. What appears zero-sum in theory can sometimes be a response to asymmetry in practice.
Eg. Anti-dumping may be to correct distortion?

But I keep wondering: are we focusing on only part of the story?
As we enter the age of AI, the real question: can the same technology that fragmented public life help it evolve?
Not through control, but through better dialogue, accountability, and long-term thinking.
