Day before yesterday, a 4 yr old boy 'Ashu' had come to the clinic for his vaccination shot. His father had accompanied him.
The child's father said, "Ashu is very strong like Narasimha, he never cries while taking a vaccine. He has big biceps like Narasimha. He did not even cry when he was administered an anaesthesia few days back for a procedure." And Ashu showing his biceps nodded and smiled.
Ashu smilingly climbed onto the bed and lied down to take his vaccine shot. He again showed his biceps and smiled. He did not cry a bit while getting administered for his vaccine shot.
Ashu's father then took him in his arms and kissed him saying, " My strong boy !!". His father said, " Doctor, you know who are Ashu's favourites?"
And Ashu exclaimed, " Narasimha and Hanuman are my favourite !!"
You feel so good to even hear this from a child of the current generation of social media, toxic westernization and what not.
Kudos to Ashu's parents for giving him such good Samskaras, for teaching him about our Sanatana Dharmic stories and Bhagwan's glories.
I really hope and pray, that all Sanatani parents teach their kids, who are the future generations about the glories and culture of our Puranas, stories from Dashavtara, Ramayana and Mahabharata as well as Shrimad Bhagawatam. To encourage their kids to learn Sanskrit from a young age and actively participate in Poojans, Homams and all our festivals. Teach them to chant Stotrams daily and have faith in Bhagwan always.
This is our duty as Sanatanis towards our ever- glorious Vedic Dharma.

Shri Chandramoulishwara today's morning Alankara from Udupi 🪷
According to our Sanatana traditions, we should never hand over sharp objects (which are weapons) like scissors, knife, blades, seave, cutters etc to someone directly. Also, such objects should never be gifted to anyone.
This is because, handing over sharp objects to someone causes misunderstandings/ quarrels in the relation with that person since such objects are meant to cut something, and hence signify cutting a relation as well.
Instead, if you have to give such a thing to someone, one should keep it on a surface and then the other person should take that sharp object from that surface.
Only during war or Yuddha, such weapons are handed over directly to someone as per our Shastras.
Also, sharp objects should never be purchased on a Saturday (Shanivaara), and they should never be purchased during Sandhya kaala (evening time range approx 6.15-7.30 pm during sunset) even on the other days, because Sandhya kaala is a very auspicious time and is for Devi Lakshmi's Aagamana in our homes.
Every tradition and ritual in our Vedic Dharma has immense significance and relevance.
Our traditions, our pride !
Har Har Mahadev 🙏

Cleansing our Aura by Camphor
Camphor or Karpuraḥ in Sanskrit is extremely auspicious, hence used in every Poojan and Aaradhana of Bhagwan.
A very good way of cleansing your aura and dispelling any negativity from affecting you is by taking some camphor pieces and making the powder of it. You can use a pestle to do this. After making the powder of this camphor, take some powder and apply it on the soles of your feet.
Doing so instantly cleanses our aura and attracts divinity towards us while dispelling any negative energies and bad vibrations.
You can do this daily at night before going to sleep. This ritual also keeps our aura protected when we are asleep.
Jai Srimannarayana 🙏

Ettumanoor temple Nandi doing pradakshina with Ettumanoor Shiva
Without force, without guidance, Nandi walks first by the divine will
Can this happen in any other Dharma?
A blessed darshan at Ranganatha Swamy temple, Srirangam! The Rajagopuram is one of the grandest ones in South India! 🙏
The Rajagopuram of the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam is the tallest temple tower in Asia. Standing at a colossal 73 meters (236 feet) high with ascending tiers, it is an architectural marvel of Dravidian (Tamilian) style and a monumental crown for the world’s largest functioning Hindu temple complex. #Srirangam #Temple
