Major cheat code for life: Get organized. Just get your sh*t together, really. Stop creating emergencies for yourself by being all over the place. Pick a direction. Focus. Lock in. Discipline doesn't remove every problem, but it prevents a shocking number of avoidable ones.
Greatest lesson I've learned this year is you can't have one foot in your old life and one foot in your new life and expect change. You have to fully commit to the new life.

one of the biggest signs your self concept is evolving is that you stop taking everything personally. someone else’s mood doesn’t automatically become your responsibility, a delayed response doesn’t instantly become proof you’re unwanted. you stop treating life like it’s happening against you. your mind isn’t constantly trying to make every event mean something about your worth.
The best advice I heard from a stranger was this: give luck more opportunities to bump into you. Leave the house, take a different road, travel, say yes to new experiences. The more you do, the more life surprises you in the best ways.
