@theipaper @paulwaugh The same courtesy was not extended for nursing and care homes that lost a large number of staff! The NHS should have had the same law at the same time. Social care has been massively impacted by the double vaccine law but as always, we are only an afterthought! #stillvaluable

@JoshBabarinde @BorisJohnson The approach of @BorisJohnson to people working in these difficult conditions is akin to blaming the Battle of Britain pilots for the Blitz in 1940. Many care home workers have risked their lives, and some have lost them as the Govt dumped people out of hospital without tests.

Boris Johnson blaming incredible social care workers for his own government’s failings is despicable. These workers had to work with little or no protective kit and without testing. Many lacked full sick pay. All the result of decisions taken by his government. Shame on him
