Ten years of building. 280 pages of progress, lessons, people and possibilities.
We are proud to launch the Data Science Nigeria (@dsn_ai_network) 2025/2026 Annual Report — our ninth edition and a special publication marking 10 years of advancing AI, talent and innovation for Africa's future.
Titled “Advancing AI, Talent and Innovation for Africa's Future,” this 280-page edition goes beyond documenting another year of programmes and milestones.
It captures a decade of building.
From developing AI talent and strengthening Nigeria's technology ecosystem to advancing AI localisation, supporting homegrown innovation and applying technology to social and economic challenges, the report reflects how an idea has grown into an ecosystem.
But the most important story is not contained in the numbers alone.
It is in the learners who became builders, communities that became platforms for opportunity, research that travelled beyond our borders, and partnerships that helped turn possibility into impact.
None of this journey was built alone.
To our funders and donors, Advisory Board, staff, partners, student network, mentors, volunteers and community champions: this decade carries your contribution too.
The report looks back at what we have built together and, more importantly, towards what the next decade can make possible.
10 years. Nine annual reports. One mission that continues to evolve.
