I don’t believe in telling athletes to “shut up and dribble,” or in your case “shut up and run the football.” You have a right to say whatever you want, but that doesn’t mean it protects you from public criticism and correction.
To call a highly-educated, accomplished Black woman a “tramp” is despicable. I’m embarrassed we went to the same university.
I honestly have no beef with companies going back to 5 days a week in office.
Hybrid is so much more flawed than we admit. We pretend like it’s a happy medium, when in reality, it’s almost more disruptive than full in office or full remote. People often don’t come on the same days. When people do come in, it’s more friendly catch up than effective collaboration (because we all miss seeing each other!!!)
I miss sitting alongside smart people. If I’m gonna do something for 8 hours a day, I wanna do it with people, not alone in my apartment. I miss whiteboarding with people. I hate communicating mostly over slack.
I’m also convinced the next wave of entry level talent will struggle to develop leadership skills and get the promotions they want in hybrid / work from home environments. Most managers are still learning how to teach and train remotely. Most soft skills get lost when you can’t emulate someone you watch in person.
Sure, there’s plenty to love about work from home. No commutes is colossal. Wider talent pool when you can hire anyone anywhere. Less disruption when you need focus time.
The way this should all pan out: some companies will go back to the good ol’ 9-5 in office every day, some will be hybrid, and some will be full remote. As workers, we should all pursue the company situation that’s right for us!
And yeah, companies need to have exception and leniency plans for people who made arrangements during the last few years that prohibit them from going back to work. But also, you’re gonna have the most career success if you attend work in the same way as your peers, so if your company is switching back to the old ways, and that’s not right for you, I do recommend you start looking.
Kamala's plans:

It’s not just the astronomical levels of hypocrisy. It’s not just the blatant disregard for separation of church & state. It’s the notion that today, in the eyes of the U.S. government, our brightest and best women are considered ‘less than’ the simplest of the male simpletons.
Thank you Bruce Arians for showing the world that all 3 of your coordinators can be black, your assistant head coach can be black, you can have 2 full time women coaches and be the best team in the world. BA you’re a trail blazer. Leadership doesn’t have a look!
Coaching and management roles in major U.S. sports leagues have mostly gone to white candidates in the past 30 years, according to our analysis.
Despite initiatives meant to increase diversity, the findings call into question the policies’ effectiveness.

It’s reported that Stacey Abrams worked relentlessly to register over 800,000 new voters across Georgia who were affected by voter suppression in time for the U.S elections.
That is some impact 👏🏾🇺🇸
