Unfortunately the history books in Serbia are almost entirely useless, you won’t find any actual important information in them. You have to do some of your own research and digging to get to the truth.

I2a is much older than EV-13, and existed in the Balkans long before it. You’re thinking of a specific branch of I2a carried by some of the Slavs that moved into the Balkans much later to joins their brethren. Either way the Slavs have always carried it and it is indigenous to Europe, unlike the Shqipatrs who mainly carry a haplogroup that originates outside of Europe…

Maybe if you weren’t so obsessed with genetics you would understand the nuance of the situation. Slavs are not just R1b, they are mainly a mix of R1b and I2a, the latter being the oldest native haplogroup in Europe, and it is predominantly held by Serbs/Southern Slavs. Just because some Slavs migrated to the Balkans in the 6th century doesn’t mean they weren’t already living there, but again, because of your genetic obsession you can’t accept that.

You also seem to believe that genetics = culture and language. Just because modern day Shqiptars carry the same ancient genes as Serbians as well as others doesn’t mean that they were speaking Albanian, it means those people were once the same population as the rest of us that got assimilated, or Albanised over the past couple of centuries…

My kind has always been here, we have zero connection to the Ural mountains besides the Slavs that left the Balkans and went North to settle those lands long ago (this can be found in nearly every early Eastern and Central European Slavic chronicles)

Scupi is the Roman name for Skoplje because they didn’t have the letter љ (or “lj”) It makes total sense, and again Scupi still sounds Serbian as it literally translates directly to gather or a gathering of people…

First of all it’s Skoplje, not Shkup. Just because Shqiptars call it that doesn’t make that the actual name. Second of all even if it was Shkup, skup litteraly means a gathering of people in Serbian, so there’s a really easy explanation for you.

The point is very relevant because it speaks to the fact that there are so many Slavic toponyms in Albania for a reason, the same reason they extend all the way down to the Peloponnesian Island, because Serbs/Slavs have always lived there. Unless you’re also going to try to use the Bulgarian Empire excuse even though they never reached down that far south.

It has nothing to do with how many remain in Albania now because many have been changed, and there is still a lot more than is admitted. Shqiptars will try to explain away as many as possible even though they are obviously Slavic names…

Even after 500 years Turkish names barely stuck, and yet you’re trying to say that a brief Bulgarian rule supposedly left behind so many toponyms that still last till this day after 1000 years? That wouldn’t happen unless the population was Slavic, and spoiler alert: It was, both before the Bulgarians came and after. Toponyms are extremely difficult to change, and that’s why so many of them in the Balkans are Slavic. They were made a very long time ago and most never changed…

Congratulations, some random Albanian dude decided to switch sides 3 months before the Siege of Beograd to help out, and isn’t even that notable considering that his identity was mixed up with other people, so we don’t even know how useful he really was.. Yeah, what a “legendary hero” he was, we would have never taken Beograd back without him 😭

And trust me, if I was mayor of Beograd the first thing I would do is remove that hideous statue built by the freemason Meštrovic, who was Croatian actually. It’s unfit to watch over our city, that honour belongs to Stefan Lazarević, the first Serbian ruler to make Beograd the capital of Serbia 🇷🇸☦️

Exactly, territorial origin is of little importance, and either way Southern Slavs carry anywhere from 40-70% so called Paleo-Balkan DNA. People have been moving and migrating all over the globe since the beginning of mankind, DNA isn’t as important as culture, and Serbs still carry culture that’s native to the Balkans that dates back 8000 years (see Vinča)

I’ll be honest, I’m mildly interested in my DNA, but besides the fact that I don’t intend on sending my intimate personal information to any private company, you seem to overestimate the overall relevance of DNA. DNA doesn’t prove anything that matters, like culture and the language that those people used… Maybe you’re just slow and don’t realize that, but now you know 👍
