Curious why your RX antenna gain is different to the TX

My main challenge is being able to see the moon low enough on the horizon without a tree or roofline in the way to reach US or UK etc

To mount the rotator, I cut and drilled some steel plates, to which I welded a scaffolding joiner (patent pending 😄)

Not really a fan of the giant-grub-screw method

I went with steel as its stronger and the extra weight is beneficial in this case

@CarstenGrn1 @M0BPQ I would be very interested in one of your spare tubes. I made a square shaped feed and its performance is a bit meh, but that was only my first attempt.

A round feed would seem to be more efficient / suitable for a round dish 🤷‍♂️
