@stveje Same! Give me 800+ page fantasy books any day, but I just don't have the attention span to sit through a film or TV show on my own. Or if people post videos to a group chat I'm like, isn't there a transcript?

Publishing by far is one of the least competitive industries. I constantly see authors, agents, editors helping authors with reviews, beta reads, reposts, celebrating good news and offering support for bad news.

@jroberts1324 Is it a physical copy? Middle grade books often have a larger font size and wider spacing, so the page count might be deceptive as to the wordcount. It can also depend on genre, for example, fantasy is generally longer.

@SuspiciousPig I'm from UK. The first time I was in the USA I heard people talking about "semis" and I had no idea what it meant. I was like "semi what?" 😄 In UK we call them lorries, or articulated lorries. Sadly it's not the kind of word people abroad might learn from TV series or films.
