284 days since this nightmare began.
230 days of unlawful suspension.
221 days of silence from the Indian High Commission in Nigeria despite hundreds of pleas.
192 days of our families running pillar to post across PMO, MEA, HMO, CM, MPs & Ministers.
26 days of illegal custody on baseless charges.
196 days of inhumane harassment & rights violations by our employer.
382 days of unpaid salaries.
118 days since we were thrown out of proper housing.
112 days since illegal termination.
177 days criminal case still not opened due to zero evidence.

The situation has now taken a tragic and irreversible turn.

My colleague and co-accused Mr Ravi Raghavendra has lost his father. His father passed away while carrying the immense emotional burden of watching his son suffer abroad under false and baseless allegations, without salary, without support and without any resolution despite repeated appeals to authorities.

No family should be made to endure such pain. It is deeply inhumane when people with money and power can inflict such suffering on innocent workers and their families with little regard for the devastating consequences.

The employer, Kam Steel Integrated Company Ltd. action has contributed to the extreme hardship, financial distress, mental trauma and human suffering caused to us and our families.

Meanwhile, the Judge in the State High Court has recused himself from the criminal case citing “circumstances beyond his control.” The EFCC has now amended and refiled the Charge Sheet for the third time.

Despite nearly six months, the criminal case has not even commenced due to lack of evidence.

Despite everything we have endured, the facts speak for themselves:

✅ Ravi Raghavendra won his Fundamental Human Rights Enforcement case against Kam Steel Integrated Company Ltd., with the Court awarding compensation in his favour.

✅ We also successfully defeated the Company’s Civil Suit after the High Court struck out the matter following our jurisdictional challenge.

Yet, despite these victories, the persecution continues.

We have exhausted all resources. We have no means for shelter, sustenance or survival.

OUR LIVES ARE AT STAKE.

How long must this injustice continue?
