[V VOICE]
▪️BEN TAPIA, a sound engineer & singer-songwriter, posts a breakdown video analyzing #V's complex vocals, high notes & his singing techniques.
▪️🔥He praised #V as the BTS member with the widest vocal range 🔥
⬇️ His Vocal Analysis:
🙎🏻♂️: TAE might be the BTS member with the widest vocal range. I say this becoz of this:
🙎🏻♂️: Smooth, sweet, a little sexy, intimate. He can sing that, but he can also sing this. He did it, he can do it. He reaches, reaches, reaches very low notes & reaches notes so high that they enter the comfortable range of members or singers like JIN.
🙎🏻♂️: So, that indicates he has a pretty high vocal range for the natural base of his voice 🔥
🙎🏻♂️: If u notice in this image. If u notice on the neck where the, where the buttons r, we see 2 lines there. Does that mark on the neck mean bad technique? Not necessarily.
🙎🏻♂️: Not all neck marks mean bad technique. Clearly, there r muscles that tense up that could or might be a bad technique that aren't reflected.
🙎🏻♂️: We r also talking from an auditory & visual perspective. To know if he's tensing the right muscles, I'd have to go & feel TAE, clearly that's not possible. Those 2 lines r an activation of a group of muscles that participate in the stabilization of the larynx & that activates quite a bit when reaching very high notes of your voice.
🙎🏻♂️: So, there aren't fixed notes where this high note will activate for everyone. No, it depends on your voice. But we also saw that mark on JIMIN's neck in the previous video, where he was reaching very high notes for him & that's where his muscles come into play.
🙎🏻♂️: So, what could be one of TAE's tricks or good techniques to achieve that difference between low & high notes?
🙎🏻♂️: One of the things I've analyzed in TAE & noticed in several performances is that he sings with very little tension in his face. He's very relaxed, jaw down, shoulders down, head not forward or backward, meaning he stays completely stable. That might be one of the signs of why he has so much control.
🙎🏻♂️: To me, TAE shines in his solo version. The, the comfortable, sweet, pleasant sound he has. So, focusing on the songs & performances that BTS & TAE have, one could say that TAE might have the widest vocal range in BTS 🔥.
