Despite the many hurdles being faced by doctors in our fucked up country, I encourage the medical students not to give up.That is one of the most powerful degrees on earth and once you learn how to use it to the fullest beyond those depilated wards in your subcounty hospitals nothing stops you not even Asamoh’s curse🤣. The problem is that we are conditioned to think and believe that we must finish school and beg those criminals at MOH and County governments to hire us. With that degree and a few add ons you can literally walk and work anywhere in this world. I myself was simply chased out of Bungoma county maliciously and denied a permanent confirmation by fellow doctors in local healthcare leadership despite working there for more than 2 years in oppressive hospital contracts,under paid and over utilized ,no medical covers,no payslips etc simply because I questioned them for violating my labor rights and that of other doctors. I was proudly the sacrificial lamb something I’d gladly do again to fight for other doctors rights. They tried grabbing me by my balls but they were too https://t.co/dU6mJhFz1E long as you’re good in whatever you do, opportunities will always knock at your door. Dear medics don’t give up,just know that your biggest enemies out there is first both the national and local governments,then fellow senior doctors,kindly prepare for them and you’ll be okay. I don’t think we should give up on our medical profession,we shall win this fight💪🏿🙏

When patient go into remission of which some do, we are actually very happy for them. Most medics if not all want the best for their patients.

Then on your next visit , discuss on how you can achieve better glucose control through diet and lifestyle modification , and maybe with better control you can gradually reduce or stop meds as guided by Doctor.
